PCI Limited Singapore Explores Academic Collaboration and Technology Development with SEEI ITB
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB received a visit from PCI Limited Singapore on Thursday, December 11, 2025, held at the Labtek VIII Meeting Room, 2nd Floor. This visit was conducted to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration in the fields of academics and technology development. The meeting marked an important step in strengthening relations between higher education institutions and international industry, while also opening avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration.
At the meeting, PCI Limited Singapore conveyed two main focuses of their visit. First, plans for academic collaboration related to opportunities for industrial internship programs for SEEI ITB students, particularly from the electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, and informatics engineering study programs. PCI Limited expressed its commitment to providing internship opportunities that are relevant to developments in the technology industry and aligned with the competency needs of students.


Second, PCI Limited and SEEI ITB discussed a commitment to sharing resources for joint technology development. Through this collaboration, both parties are expected to mutually support research, innovation, and the strengthening of technological capacity in areas of shared focus.
As a follow-up to the meeting, PCI Limited Singapore plans to offer industrial internship programs tailored to SEEI ITB’s academic schedule and students’ skill levels. This adjustment is expected to ensure that the program runs optimally and provides the best practical experience for students.
In addition, both parties agreed to hold further meetings to discuss in more detail the forms of collaboration and resources that can be jointly developed in order to promote research and technological innovation.
This visit represents an important initial step in building a collaborative relationship between SEEI ITB and international industry, as well as expanding opportunities for students and lecturers in the development of future competencies and technologies.
