Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering
The Master of Electrical Engineering Program is designed for bachelor students from both engineering and science who wish to obtain a Master of Engineering (M.T.) Degree in Electrical Engineering.
The Electrical Engineering Master’s Program includes the following Sub Study Programs:

- Media Technology & Digital Media
- Biomedical Engineering
- Microelectronic Engineering

Program Educational Objectives
- Our graduate will successfully establish a career with productive work in electrical engineering or
related fields.
- Our graduate will undertake research or engage in life-long learning in electrical engineering and related fields or continue with advanced studies in a doctoral program.

General requirement
- Graduates of the Undergraduate Program (S1) or Diploma 4 (D4) Program from an accredited tertiary institution or equivalent within the scope of the appropriate scientific field.
Applicants for the ITB Masters Program must be able to meet the following requirements:
- Pass the selection of academic requirements and abilities carried out by the target study program
- Pay the costs of implementing the ITB Postgraduate Student Selection.
Special Requirements
Prospective students of the STEI – ITB Electrical Engineering Masters Program are graduates of the Bachelor (S1) or D4 Program, in the Field of Science and Engineering from domestic or foreign universities that are accredited or the equivalent.
Original Bappenas TPA Certificate or ITB Basic Academic Potential Test (UPDA) Results. The minimum TPA Bappenas/UPDA ITB score requirement is 475.
- During the admission of new students for the 2023/2024 ITB Postgraduate Program Semester I, all prospective selection participants are advised to take the Basic Academic Potential Test (UPDA)/TPA which is being held by ITB.
- Participants selected for the ITB Postgraduate program who already have a valid Bappenas TPA certificate can use this certificate. ITB only accepts Bappenas TPA certificates which are sent directly by the official agency administering Bappenas TPA to ITB.
- Prospective Participants of the ITB Academic Basic Potential Test (UPDA), can register on the page https://rupda.itb.ac.id/ by using an active email address and ITB postgraduate program selection number
Original English language proficiency certificate, in the form of:
- TOEFL iBT (recognized by ets.org) minimum of 56, or
- TOEFL ITP (recognized by ets.org) minimum of 475, or
- TOEIC (recognized by ets.org) minimum of 500, or
- IELTS (recognized by ielts.org) minimum of 5, or
- ITB ELPT minimum is 77
- During the admission of new students for the 2023/2024 ITB Postgraduate Program Semester I, all prospective selection participants are advised to take the English Language Proficiency Test (TOEFL/IELTS/ELPT ITB) which will be held by ITB.
- ITB Postgraduate program selection participants who already have a valid TOEFL/IELTS/ELPT ITB certificate can use the certificate. ITB only accepts TOEFL/IELTS/ELPT ITB certificates which are sent directly by the official institutions that administer the TOEFL/IELTS/ELPT ITB tests and/or TPA Bappenas to ITB.
