Termination of ABET Accreditation

The Information Systems and Technology (IST) Study Program has been ABET accredited since October 1, 2018, and this status will end on September 30, 2025. ABET is an international accreditation organization and one of the signatories of the Seoul Accord, a multilateral agreement between various institutions that provide accreditation or recognition of higher education qualifications in computing and other fields related to information technology.

Because Indonesia currently has an international accreditation institution, IABEE (Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education), which has also become a full signatory member of the Seoul Accord, the Information Systems and Technology Study Program will undergo an international accreditation process through IABEE, and the ABET accreditation status will not be extended.

Regardless of the termination of ABET accreditation, we will continue our cooperation with ABET when necessary to assure the continual improvement of the study program.
