xG Research Center Constructs 5G Control Center: Advancing Network Understanding and Driving Innovation
Bandung, Indonesia – June 18th, 2024 – The xG Research Center of Use Cases and Applications (“xG Research Center”) today announced a new research initiative focused on building a 5G network’s control center using publicly available components and rigorously examining its performance. Led by researchers Rifqi Ananda, Dr. Ing. Chairunnisa, S.T., M.T., and Dr. Ing. Eueung Mulyana, S.T., M.T., this project aims to provide a flexible and cost-effective platform for testing, analyzing, and ultimately advancing 5G network technology in Indonesia.
5G Testbed: A Powerful Tool for Innovation
Recognizing the rapid evolution of 5G technology, the xG Research Center is constructing a dedicated 5G testbed using publicly available components. This approach offers significant advantages:
