{"id":8773,"date":"2019-08-14T16:38:23","date_gmt":"2019-08-14T09:38:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/redesign\/?p=8773"},"modified":"2021-03-26T18:16:36","modified_gmt":"2021-03-26T11:16:36","slug":"scientific-oration-from-prof-jaka-sembiring-information-science-in-the-era-of-cyber-%e2%80%8b%e2%80%8bphysical-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/redesign\/scientific-oration-from-prof-jaka-sembiring-information-science-in-the-era-of-cyber-%e2%80%8b%e2%80%8bphysical-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientific Oration from Prof. Jaka Sembiring: Information Science in the Era of Cyber \u200b\u200bPhysical Systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Professor of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering (STEI) ITB, Prof. Jaka Sembiring, who is also the dean of STEI ITB, delivered his scientific speech at the West Hall of the ITB Campus, Jalan Ganesa No. 10, Bandung, Saturday, 13 July 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Jaka Sembiring, in his Scientific Oration entitled &#8220;Information Science in the Era of Cyber \u200b\u200bPhysical Systems&#8221; stated that: &#8220;Information science is interdisciplinary related to analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, dissemination and information protection (Jacod &amp; Potter 2000).
