Interim findings reveal the crucial role of specific 5G network parameters in enabling effective and reliable environmental monitoring, paving the way for a more sustainable future.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXO71016664 BCX0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/redesign\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/Developed-Floating-Platform.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23756\" src=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/redesign\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/Developed-Floating-Platform.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"509\" \/><\/a><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">5G: Empowering Smart Environmental Monitoring<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The research highlights the following 5G parameters as critical for successful implementation of smart environmental surveillance solutions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Extended Coverage and Capacity:<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"2\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Why it matters:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Environmental sensors are often deployed in remote areas (forests, mountains, coastlines) where reliable network coverage can be challenging.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"2\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">5G&#8217;s advantage:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a05G networks are designed to provide wider coverage than previous generations, reaching further into rural areas and improving signal
