Ia menamatkan S1 Teknik Elektro ITB (2005\u20132010) dengan predikat cum laude, lalu melanjutkan studi S2 di Tohoku University, Jepang (2011\u20132013) sebagai penerima beasiswa MEXT. Pada jenjang magister, risetnya menyoroti wireless power supply\u2014singkatnya, \u201cngecas tanpa kabel\u201d sebelum itu jadi gaya hidup banyak orang.<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"tutun2 wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div  class=\"wpb_single_image wpb_content_element vc_align_right wpb_content_element\">\n\t\t\n\t\t<figure class=\"wpb_wrapper vc_figure\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"vc_single_image-wrapper   vc_box_border_grey\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"460\" height=\"365\" src=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/redesign\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/Dr.-Eng.-Rachmawati-S.T.-M.Eng_.jpg\" class=\"vc_single_image-img attachment-full\" alt=\"\" title=\"Dr. Eng. Rachmawati, S.T., M.Eng.\" \/><\/div>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"container\" ><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1723012029623\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">Sempat \u201cturun gunung\u201d ke industri sebagai Junior Staff Production Control di PT NOK Indonesia (2013\u20132017), Rachmawati kemudian kembali ke dunia akademik sebagai Academic Assistant di Kelompok Keahlian Electrical Power Engineering (EPE) ITB (2017\u20132019). Ia melanjutkan program doktor di Nagoya University (2019\u20132022), juga dengan beasiswa MEXT, dengan topik Functionally Graded Materials (FGM) untuk electric field grading pada peralatan HVDC GIS\/GIL. Sejak 2022, ia aktif sebagai Research Assistant di EPE ITB, kemudian menjadi Academic Assistant (2023), Research Faculty (2023\u20132025), dan per September 2025 resmi menjadi dosen di STEI ITB\u2014jadi kalau \u201ctegangan hidup\u201d naik-turun, setidaknya urusan tegangan tinggi di lab tetap aman terkendali.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"scriptor-paragraph\">Produktivitas risetnya tercermin dari publikasi jurnal bereputasi (termasuk Q1), H-index Scopus 9, serta capaian sitasi yang kuat pada topik FGM dan isolasi tegangan tinggi. Ia juga meraih berbagai penghargaan presentasi ilmiah internasional (misalnya Excellent Oral\/Presentation Award), memimpin maupun terlibat dalam hibah riset (termasuk sebagai PI pada beberapa skema 2024\u20132026), serta dipercaya menangani proyek konsultansi aset kelistrikan seperti studi asesmen\/reconditioning GIS bersama PLN Enjiniring. Di sisi profesional, ia aktif dalam kepanitiaan konferensi internasional (misalnya sebagai Technical Program Chair\/Secretary), membimbing mahasiswa S1\u2013S3 pada topik material pelapis isolator dan performa isolasi, serta menguasai perangkat simulasi seperti COMSOL, ATP\/EMTP, P-Spice\/LTspice, dan Maxwell 3D.
