This event was held as part of the new student orientation for the 2019-2020 academic year. The event was attended by the Dean of STEI-ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jaka Sembiring, M.Eng, as the main speaker. The event was also attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, <a href=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/id\/sekilas\/staf-dosen\/dwi\/\">Prof. Dwi Hendratmo W., Ph.D.<\/a>, and Deputy Dean for Resources, <a href=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/id\/sekilas\/staf-dosen\/nana\/\">Prof. Nana Rachmana Syambas, M.Eng<\/a>; and head of study program.<a href=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8752\" src=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"719\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6220-1-600x337.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>During the event, Prof. Jaka explained each major at STEI, its future technological prospects, and answered questions from new students. The new students were able to view products and research projects from both students and lecturers. After the event, the new students and lecturers posed for a group photo.
