FIND IT (Future Innovation and Discovering IT)<\/a> is one of the work programs of KMTETI Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology UGM to improve the quality of students so that they can maximize their role as the nation's generation and agents of national development, especially in the field of information technology and its utilization in Indonesia. This activity is expected to be a place to hone students' abilities and creativity in the development of national-scale information and communication technology. There are 5 branches of competition held in this FIND IT competition, namely Game Dev Competition, Software Dev Competition, Business IT Case, E-Government Competition, UX Design Competition. FIND IT 2018 carries the theme \"Technology as a Uniter of the Nation and Supporter of the Preservation of Indonesian Culture\".<\/p>\n

This activity was held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the DTETI Faculty of Engineering, UGM, Yogyakarta. ITB sent two representative teams from Informatics Engineering<\/a> for 2 competition branches, namely Business IT Case and E-Government in the final round. Unicorn Team<\/strong> consisting of Christian Wibisono (Information Technology 2016), Muhammad Fata Nurrahman (Information Systems and Technology 2016), and Albert Sahala (Information Technology 2016) won 3rd place in the Business IT Case competition. AsEntities Team<\/strong> consisting of Ilham Firdausi Putra (Informatics Engineering 2016), Restu Wahyu Kartiko (Informatics Engineering 2016), and Hafizh Budiman (Informatics Engineering 2016) won 1st place in the E-Government competition.<\/p>\n

In the preliminary round, for the Business IT case competition, participants were asked to submit a business idea proposal to solve a business problem that was the theme of the FIND IT implementation using an Information Technology approach. For the e-government competition, participants were asked to analyze and submit an application proposal to solve various problems encountered by the government in the field of \"Tourism and Culture\" using an Information Technology approach. Until finally 5 teams were selected for each competition to advance to the final round to present their work.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
