These three innovations are expected to add to several transportation innovations already developed by ITB.<\/p>\n<p>\"The focus is on the three technology areas mentioned above. We are collaborating with various industrial companies,\" said Sigit Puji Santosa, Head of the ITB Center for Sustainable Technology Development, during the Innovation Exhibition in ITB's West Hall on Sunday (March 5).<\/p>\n<p>Sigit explained that these innovations are currently under development by the ITB team. However, the Metro Capsule has already been tested by constructing a 300-meter track in Subang.<\/p>\n<p>\"All system tests, functional tests, and various other things were tested there. And the results were quite good,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The plan is to build the Metro Capsule in Bandung City along six kilometers from Bandung Station, towards Dalem Kaum, Tegalega, and back to Bandung Station.<\/p>\n<p>\"Yesterday, the Mayor (Ridwan Kamil) held a press conference. But what's certain is that it will be built in Bandung,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Sigit explained that the production of electric vehicles will be carried out in collaboration with domestic and foreign manufacturing industries such as PT INKA, PT KAI, PT INTI, PT PINDAD, PT Lens, and various development collaborations with foreign universities.<\/p>\n<p>\"We don't sell, but we channel human resources to the industries that collaborate with us,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the development of electric-powered transportation is an effort to face the automotive industry revolution in 2025.
