Therefore, the Korean government is helping Indonesia in terms of infrastructure, such as assistance in procuring the KOICA-ITB Cyber Security Center building and its contents, including transportation facilities for students to get to the ITB Jatinangor campus where the Cyber Security Center is located.<\/p>\n
Ir. Yudi Satria Gondokaryono, M.Sc, Ph.D. also stated that Indonesia's human resources in the field of cyber security are quite capable and their quality is recognized. \"In terms of quantity, we are still minimal, that's why Cyber Security was established to increase the quantity of security experts who are much needed by both private companies, industry, and government in case one day we are attacked from outside our cyber security,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Ir. Yudi Satria Gondokaryono, M.Sc, Ph.D. confirmed that the government needs thousands of security experts to guard or cover all aspects related to vital state assets such as banking, PLN, BUMN and other vital assets. \"Therefore, the formation of a National Security Agency is indeed necessary as a coordination forum if at some time our country experiences a cybersecurity attack from outside,\" said Ir. Yudi Satria Gondokaryono, M.Sc, Ph.D.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, KOICA Indonesia Deputy Resident Representative Lee Young In explained that Indonesia has enormous potential with excellent human resources in the field of cybersecurity. Lee added that the South Korea-Indonesia cybersecurity cooperation could make both countries equally strong in the field of cybersecurity to face and anticipate global cybersecurity threats.<\/p>\n
\"We chose ITB because it is a top university in Indonesia, especially in terms of technology, so we can conduct comparative studies so that we can both be equally strong in facing the latest security issues,\" Lee added.<\/p>\n
He hopes that in the future, South Korea-Indonesia cooperation in the security sector can be more comprehensive, allowing for the exchange of experiences and transfer of knowledge.<\/p>\n
