The three students are Ahmad Fauzan (IF'10), Pandu Kartika Putra (IF'11), and Jan Wira Gotama Putra (IF'12). The first topic is the development of a sensor system and data analysis for bicycles (Ahmad). The second topic is the development of a mobile application for language translation using <em>web service<\/em> with features <em>voice recognition, optical character recognition <\/em>And <em>text to speech <\/em>(Pandu)<em>. <\/em>The third topic is natural language processing (in English) using the WordNet database (Jan Wira). The supplementary topic is recognizing simple patterns using <em>Artificial Intelligence Neural Network \u2013 Back Propagation <\/em>(Jan Wira)<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In addition to conducting research, the three students also participated in other academic activities, namely the demonstration of IMS3 (Mobile Mapping System &amp; Dual Cam) technology, and were present at the presentation. <em>Final Project<\/em> GNCT students demonstrated drones in disaster response systems, introduced Indonesia and ITB to GNCT students (presentations), and assembled robots with GNCT students. In their spare time from research and other academic activities, our three students explored Japanese culture and life. They visited Ogaki Castle, Gifu Castle, the Nagara River Fireworks Festival, Nagoya, the Institute of Advanced Media and Art, a tea farm, and Mino-City. They also had the opportunity to participate in <em>tea ceremony<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4316\" src=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/student-2.jpg\" alt=\"student-2\" width=\"461\" height=\"306\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Photo during a presentation introducing Indonesia and ITB to GNCT students<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last research day of the program <em>research internship<\/em> This was marked by a presentation of their research findings to officials from JASSO (Japan Student Service Organization), the organization that provided scholarships to our three students.
