Sam Darma Putra, President Director of PT. Arung Segara Dana, who is also an alumnus of Informatics Engineering at STEI ITB.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture explains about IT Entrepreneurship which discusses IT as a science, a technology, a tool\/assistant, a cultural change and way of thinking, a new livelihood, and a new business.<\/p>\n<p>IT entrepreneurship isn't overly project-focused; research and development functions must continue. Human resources are an asset, but systems shouldn't become dependent on specific personnel. The bottom line is that IT is a significant business opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunities will continue to exist because whatever the vertical, IT knowledge is still needed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3603 aligncenter\" alt=\"Resize of DSC_0955\" src=\"http:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/Resize-of-DSC_0955.jpg\" width=\"535\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In-house development for companies that require IT solutions is relatively difficult due to various considerations: human resources, funds, time, and focus on the company.<\/p>\n<p>The public lecture was very enthusiastic and was listened to carefully by the Informatics Engineering students of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics.<\/p>\n<p>Then it was closed with the presentation of souvenirs and mementos from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics given by Dr. Ir. Rinaldi Munir, a Lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, ITB.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3604 aligncenter\" alt=\"Resize of Sam Darma Putra-PT.
