The activity, which was carried out in collaboration with the ITB K3L UPT, took place on Jalan D, ITB Ganesha Campus, at 15.00\u201316.00 WIB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The training was organized as part of STEI ITB\u2019s efforts to strengthen emergency preparedness among faculty members, educational staff, and outsourced personnel in responding to potential fire incidents in the workplace. Participants received both fundamental knowledge and practical skills for carrying out appropriate initial fire response measures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The session began with opening remarks by Widodo, followed by a presentation on fire safety and the proper use of portable fire extinguishers. Participants learned about different types and sizes of fire extinguishers, their appropriate applications, and the correct procedures for operating them under various fire conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to the material presented, the UPT K3L ITB team conducted a hands-on fire suppression simulation using a controlled flame. Participants were given the opportunity to practice operating fire extinguishers in accordance with the demonstrated procedures. They were also introduced to firefighting techniques using a 1.5-inch building hydrant hose.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Through this training, STEI ITB aims to strengthen the awareness and preparedness of its community in responding to fire emergencies.
