The biennial conference organized by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), School of Pharmacy (SF), Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD), and Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) ITB took place on Thursday-Friday (7-8\/11\/13) in the West Hall and Achmad Bakrie Building (Labtek VIII) ITB.<\/p>\n<p>This time ICICI-BME invited several <em>keynote speaker<\/em> from within and outside the country, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Soegijardjo Seogijoko and Dr. Taufiq Hidayat from ITB, Prof. Yusaku Fujii and Prof. Kazuhito Shimada from Gunma University Japan, Prof. Eric Y. Chuang from National Taiwan University, and Heather Grain from La Trobe University, Australia. This conference raised the theme <em>Science and Technology for Implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3012 aligncenter\" alt=\"Resize of ICICI-BME-Prof Tati\" src=\"http:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/Resize-of-ICICI-BME-Prof-Tati.jpg\" width=\"395\" height=\"263\" \/><br \/>\nParticipants in this event were not limited to academics, but were also open to the general public and corporate institutions interested in health, safety, and the environment. A total of 136 participants participated. <em>paper <\/em>submitted by participants from various countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, China, and Korea which were then selected to become 124 <em>paper<\/em> by the team <em>reviewer<\/em>, who are ITB lecturers, to be presented at this conference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3013 aligncenter\" alt=\"Resize of ICICI-BME-Peserta\" src=\"http:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/Resize-of-ICICI-BME-Peserta.jpg\" width=\"422\" height=\"281\" \/><br \/>\nThere are two focus events in this conference, namely <em>keynote address<\/em> And<em> parallel session<\/em>. <em>Keynote address <\/em>is a session when the <em>keynote speaker <\/em>review the research they have conducted. Participants presented their research results in parallel sessions held separately in the West Hall and the Achmad Bakrie building. Other participants were given the freedom to choose <em>parallel session<\/em> which one to follow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3014 aligncenter\" alt=\"Resize of ICICI-BME-Panitia\" src=\"http:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/Resize-of-ICICI-BME-Panitia.jpg\" width=\"454\" height=\"302\" \/><br \/>\n&#8220;ICICI-BME aims to accommodate researchers from various countries as a means of sharing information and knowledge regarding technological advances and research from their respective countries through <em>paper <\/em>\"What they proposed,\" explained Nedya Utami, Chair of ICICI-BME 2013.<\/p>\n<p>sumber: itb.ac.id<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perkembangan teknologi dan penelitian yang semakin maju mendorong ITB untuk kembali menyelenggarakan International Conference on Instrumentation, Communication, Information Technology and Biomedical Engineering (ICICI-BME) 2013 untuk ketiga kalinya.
