Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id \u2014<\/strong> The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) received a visit from PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) in the context of activities Goes To Campus<\/em> Organized by the Information Technology Function of PHR Regional 1 \u2013 Sumatra, this activity is one manifestation of the implementation of the IT SIGAP culture program, specifically in efforts to improve digital agility, both within the company and for the wider community.<\/p>\n

The event, held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, was held at the ITB Ganesha Campus in Bandung. Pertamina Hulu Rokan invited lecturers and students from STEI ITB to attend and actively participate in an insight-sharing session focused on the development of information technology in the industrial world.<\/p>\n

Through activities Goes To Campus<\/em>Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) is presenting an interactive discussion forum for industry practitioners and academics. Topics covered include the use of digital technology to support upstream oil and gas operations, digital transformation, and the opportunities and challenges faced in this rapidly evolving technological era.<\/p>\n

In addition to the main activity, the Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) delegation also had the opportunity to visit several laboratory facilities within STEI ITB, including the Metaverse Laboratory and the Telematics Laboratory. This visit provided a firsthand opportunity to observe the various innovations and technological developments undertaken by STEI ITB students and lecturers, while also opening up opportunities for future research and development collaborations.<\/p>\n

This activity is expected to provide mutual benefits through the exchange of knowledge and experience between industry and academia. Furthermore, this collaboration is a strategic step in supporting student competency development and strengthening the readiness of STEI ITB graduates to meet the needs of a dynamic, technology-driven industry.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
