Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id \u2014 The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) welcomed a delegation from CentraleSup\u00e9lec, a leading engineering education institution in France and part of Paris-Saclay University, on Wednesday (March 5, 2026). The meeting, held in the STEI ITB Meeting Room, Labtek VIII, 2nd Floor, marked the first step in exploring strategic collaboration in education and research.<\/p>\n

The CentraleSup\u00e9lec delegation was led by Prof. Didier Clouteau as Vice President of the Board of Directors and Advisor for International Collaboration. Also accompanying the visit was Prof. Julien Bourgeois who serves as Scientific Attach\u00e9 from the French Embassy in Indonesia. Meanwhile, from STEI ITB, the meeting was attended by the dean's staff, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T. as Dean of STEI ITB, Dr.Eng. Ir. Arwindra Rizqiawan, S.T., M.T. as Vice Dean for Resources, and Dr. techn. Muhammad Zuhri Catur Candra, S.T., M.T. as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The main agenda of this visit was to explore the potential for developing academic cooperation between the two institutions, particularly in the development of the Joint 2+2 Bachelor program in Engineering. Through this scheme, students have the opportunity to complete the first two years of study at their home institution and the next two years at the partner institution, with the possibility of a double degree or joint degree scheme in accordance with the regulations in force in each country.<\/p>\n

In addition, the two institutions also discussed opportunities for academic collaboration in several strategic areas, including Engineering, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence. The discussion also covered the development of academic mobility, including student exchange programs, visiting professors, and the implementation of short-term academic programs.<\/p>\n
