The Big Data Challenge is one of the flagship categories of Satria Data, challenging participants to solve real-\nworld, data-driven problems through analysis, modeling, and scientific presentation. <em>.<\/em> . <em>.<\/em> ..<\/p>\n<p>The SEEI ITB team, consisting of Winata Tristan (STI\u201922), Francesco Michael Kusuma (IF\u201922), and Maximilian Sulistiyo (IF\u201922), stood out due to their innovative approach to multimodal data processing. In the preliminary round, they developed an emotion classification system for 1,000 Instagram videos using an audio\u2013text\u2013based pipeline, leveraging the Whisper and IndoBERT models for emotion extraction and interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fullwidth\" ><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1762931431674\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div  class=\"wpb_single_image wpb_content_element vc_align_center wpb_content_element\">\n\t\t\n\t\t<figure class=\"wpb_wrapper vc_figure\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"vc_single_image-wrapper   vc_box_border_grey\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/BigDataChallange-1.jpg\" class=\"vc_single_image-img attachment-large\" alt=\"\" title=\"BigDataChallange - 1\" \/><\/div>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fullwidth\" ><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1762931426819\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>In the semifinal round, the team faced new challenges involving topic clustering, summarization, and data visualization for video content. They applied BERTopic with the HDBSCAN algorithm for text-embedding-based clustering and built an interactive web platform that enabled exploration of topic trends and engagement patterns similar to Google Trends.
