The project was led by a member of the Electrical Power Engineering Expertise Group of SEEI ITB, together with a team involving Dr. Ing. Deny Hamdani, S.T., M.Sc., Dr. Ir. Syarif Hidayat, M.T., Ramadhani Eka Putra, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., as well as field technician Muhammad Alfatha Kurniadi. <a href=\"https:\/\/itb.ac.id\/staf\/profil\/bryan-denov\">Dr. Bryan Denov, S.T., M.T.<\/a> . <a href=\"https:\/\/itb.ac.id\/staf\/profil\/deny-hamdani\">.<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/itb.ac.id\/staf\/profil\/syarif-hidayat\">.<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/itb.ac.id\/staf\/profil\/ramadhani-eka-putra\">.<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sumpur Kudus Village is known for its commitment to preserving customary forests rich in non-timber forest products (NTFPs). However, the challenge of difficult access to forest areas often hampers rattan farmers who require electricity supply while working at forest patrol posts. This pico-hydro technology provides a solution by utilizing forest water flows to generate electricity of up to 1 kilowatt. The system is designed to be portable and is equipped with a generator, inverter, and control panel for ease of use in the field.<\/p>\n<p>This technology not only improves work efficiency but also supports environmental sustainability, in line with the village\u2019s mission of forest conservation and sustainable rattan management.
