Over one billion people worldwide still lack access to reliable energy. Through the ANRGI project, we aim to make a meaningful impact by innovating in technologies that make distributed energy resources, such as photovoltaic microgrids, to be scalable and sustainable.<\/p>\n
ANRGI stands for Accessible, Natural, Renewable Growth, and Interaction\/Implementation. The project is basically a multi-year research collaboration between Twente University and Bandung Institute of Technology and supported by KLIMOP, PT. LEN and BRIN. It is financed by Dutch NWO and Indonesian Menristekdikti.<\/p>\n
The project focuses on drastically increasing energy access in remote areas through microgrids while reducing losses and waste of energy. These objectives are centered around a radical improvement in power quality, contributing to a cleaner and more efficient energy future.<\/p>\n
One of the main activities supporting these objectives is the student exchange program with our partner in Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology, funded by Erasmus+. These exchanges provide Indonesian students with opportunities to engage with international experts, share knowledge, and collaborate on cutting-edge energy solutions. By fostering global partnerships and hands-on learning experiences, the program ensures that the next generation of engineers and innovators is well-equipped to contribute to increasing energy access in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
