The KRI KRCI robot contest is an annual event held by the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture. The 2012 KRI (Indonesian Robot Contest) is the 14th, while the KRCI (Indonesian Intelligent Robot Contest) for the intelligent fire-fighting robot category is the 9th. Meanwhile, the KRCI Humanoid Soccer RSHL (RoboSoccer Humanoid League) is the second time it has been held.<\/p>\n
The increasing number of universities participating in the KRI KRCI activities has led to the competition being held in two stages, namely regional and national levels, and held in 5 regions. In 2012, the regional competition for region I was held at STMIK Potensi Utama Medan, region II at the Bandung Institute of Technology, region III at Dian Nuswantoro University Semarang, region IV at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya, and region V at the State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang. The national level contest was held at the Bandung Institute of Technology on June 30 \u2013 July 1, 2012.<\/p>\n
The implementation of the KRI KRCI regional level II was held on May 26, 2012 at the ITB Jatinangor Sumedang Campus. 67 teams participated in the competition, consisting of 14 KRI teams, 26 KRCI wheeled fire extinguisher teams, 19 KRCI footed fire extinguisher teams and 8 KRCI RSHL teams. All participants came from 29 universities in the regions of West Java, Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Kalimantan.
