Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id<\/em> \u2014 The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) is proud to host IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Day 2023<\/strong><\/em>, an international event spanning two full days of activities and scientific discussions. The event is divided into two sessions, taking place on December 18 and 19, 2023, at two different locations in Bandung.<\/p>\n

The official opening of the IEEE CASS Day 2023 event in the first session on December 18 at the IPTEK Auditorium, East Campus Center, ITB, was carried out by .<\/a>Dean of STEI ITB. With high enthusiasm and passion, .<\/a> welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of international forums like this in advancing research and innovation in the field of electrical engineering and informatics.<\/p>\n

\nThe first session, which was a seminar, featured four prominent keynote speakers: Prof. Jie Chen, Chair Professor of Electronic Engineering dan Fellow of IEEE, AAAS, IFAC<\/em>, opening with the topic “Artificial Intelligence: A New Research Area for Biomedical Informatics<\/em>“. Followed by Prof. Fakhrul Zaman Rokhani, IEEE CASS Vice President Education and Communications<\/em>, with a presentation on “Precision Ageing for a High Quality of Life of Senior Adults<\/em>Meanwhile, Dessi Puji Lestari, ST, M.Eng., Ph.D., a researcher, raised the topic of \"Speech Processing Technology for Indonesia Language: Research and Application<\/em>“. And Nur Ahmadi, ST, M.Eng., Ph.D. DIC, also a researcher, introduced “Unobtrusive Contactless Monitoring of Daily Activities Using Radar and Artificial Intelligence<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

The second session, on December 19, 2023 at the Savoy Homan Hotel, Bandung, focused on Student Branch Chapter Workshop<\/em>. workshops,<\/em> This event was attended by students from various Asian countries, who had the opportunity to present their countries and IEEE developments in their respective countries. They were also taken on a tour of the ITB campus, with a special visit to Microelectronics Center Laboratory<\/em> And Biomedical Engineering Laboratory<\/em>. Salah satu .<\/em> is a group discussion activity, where students are divided into random groups to discuss and present solutions to cases with predetermined topics, including, “How to prepare social event for CASS<\/em>” and “How to orgenize technical workshop for CASS<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

Closing of IEEE CASS Day 2023 by .<\/a>, Dean of STEI ITB, marked the success of the event. He expressed his pride and gratitude for the enthusiasm of the participants who came from various countries to attend this event in Bandung. The event concluded with a traditional Rampak Gendang dance performance and a group photo session, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.<\/p>\n

IEEE CASS Day 2023 at ITB has successfully become a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation in the field of electrical engineering and informatics, while strengthening networks among academics, researchers, and students from various parts of the world, reaffirming ITB and Indonesia's position on the global technology stage.<\/p>\n
