This event took place on March 5, 2012, at the Auditorium Room of the East Campus Center, ITB Campus, with the main speaker being Dr. Yuji Inoue. <em>chairman<\/em> . <em>Toyota Info Technology Center Co., Ltd<\/em>. \u2013 Japan. The topic raised at this public lecture, which was filled with students, was \u201c<em>ICT for Better Life of People, How to Apply Cloud and Latest Technologies<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In this public lecture, Dr. Yuji explains how to apply technology <em>cloud<\/em> In improving the quality of life, this is based on several problems, namely population growth (competition), limited resources, and natural disasters. Therefore, collaboration is needed. <em>tools<\/em> and new ways, <em>sustainable resource<\/em>, and disaster management that can be obtained from \"<em>digital society<\/em>\". The digital technology studied is <em>cloud computing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Pembangunan <em>smart society<\/em> in architecture <em>cloud<\/em> includes the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Smart grid<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Networked car<\/em> \u00e0 2.0; where every car is connected to <em>cloud<\/em> produce an intelligent transportation system<\/li>\n<li><em>E-government<\/em>, digitalization of government documentation to <em>cloud<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Rural life application<\/em>; connecting experts with real environments, including <em>medical<\/em> <em>cloud<\/em>, <em>agricultural cloud<\/em>, <em>fish farm cloud<\/em> dll.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\">\"The purpose of this activity is actually to introduce cloud technology to the public in order to improve the welfare of the community itself. In this event, it was also shown how several applications in cloud technology, such as robot applications, video processing applications, can be utilized in people's lives,\" said the chairman of this activity, Dr.Ir. Jaka Sembiring, M.Eng., who is also the chairman of IEICE for the Indonesia Section.
