BANDUNG, stei.itb.ac.id – PT Selaras Citra Nusantara Perkasa Tbk (<\/span>SCNP<\/span><\/a>) has begun to affirm its commitment to expanding into the medical device (alkes) business. The company has established synergy with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), particularly the research team from <\/span>STEI Biomedical Engineering Study Program<\/span><\/a> in research and development activities for early detection of cardiovascular disease (<\/span>screening<\/span><\/i>), NIVA (Non-Invasive Vascular Analyzer).<\/span><\/p>\n

Chief Operating Officer of PT SCNP Shirly Effendy revealed that NIVA is the work of the nation's children whose idea came from the Team <\/span>STEI Biomedical Engineering Study Program<\/span><\/a>In its development and commercialization process, ITB collaborated with the SCNP Product Research and Development Team. Meanwhile, for the NIVA device clinical trial, SCNP collaborated with a team of cardiologists from the Harapan Kita National Heart Center (PJN Harkit).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shirly stated that her team has declared its readiness to produce NIVA by the end of 2022, demonstrating SCNP's concrete contribution to the national industry and economy. In its business plan, SCNP has set a bold step by producing and distributing 100 units of NIVA medical devices to the domestic market in 2023. For this, SCNP extends its deep appreciation to the entire STEI-ITB inventor team and the PJN Harkit clinical trial team.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"We'll start mass production this year. Our 2023 sales target is 100 units. We'll enter the e-catalog at around Rp161 million, which is 52% cheaper than imported products. We'll increase the price further in 2024. It will likely be released in the first quarter. The investment value is Rp10 billion between SCNP and ITB,\" Shirley said during a talk show between SCNP, ITB, and PJN Harkit in Jakarta on Friday (December 23, 2022).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Menurut Shirley, inisiatif SCNP untuk memproduksi NIVA merupakan wujud nyata dukungan terhadap Pemerintah dalam bidang kesehatan sebagaimana tertuang di APBN 2023. Menkeu RI Sri Mulyani dalam paparan APBN 2023 menyatakan bahwa Kesehatan merupakan salah satu dari 4 bidang yang menjadi prioritas anggaran 2023 dalam rangka mendukung transformasi ekonomi, yaitu Pendidikan (Rp 612T), Perlinsos (Rp 479T), Infrastruktur (Rp 392T) dan Kesehatan (Rp 169T). Dari 7 program Pemerintah di APBN terkait kesehatan, kehadiran NIVA di pasar domestik merupakan perwujudan terhadap program penguatan inovasi dan teknologi kesehatan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SCNP realizes that the program can be realized through the supremacy of the work of the Team. <\/span>STEI Biomedical Engineering Study Program<\/span><\/a> in the national medical device industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dr. Suko Adiarto, a Heart and Blood Vessel Specialist at PJN Harkit, stated that the presence of NIVA is very helpful for medical personnel in their heart and blood vessel health screening activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Cumulatively, NIVA's role will greatly assist the government in covering costs due to heart disease in BPJS Kesehatan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
