BANDUNG, itb.ac.id \u2013 Research and innovation are crucial for fostering national independence, enabling solutions to meet diverse societal needs. The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) has a five-year Development Master Plan (RENIP) aimed at developing Indonesia's human and technological resources.<\/p>\n

ITB's research priorities have also been established in the ITB Academic Senate Regulations, which are expected to have a significant impact on Indonesian and global society. To build a foundation for developing research directions that support a superior scientific culture, ITB, through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), has again scheduled the ITB Research Program for the 2022 Implementation Year.<\/p>\n

The Research Program held by the Bandung Institute of Technology is divided into five categories, namely, Collaborative Research with Top World Universities, Research on Increasing the Capacity of Young Lecturers, Leading Development Research, Leading ITB Research, and ITB Internship Lecturer Research.<\/p>\n

9 Lecturers from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) ITB have successfully become recipients of ITB Research Program funds for 2022. These results were first broadcast on Friday (28\/01\/2022) through an official letter from the ITB Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM ITB) regarding the Determination of Recipients of ITB Research Program Funds for 2022 which was published on the official website of LPPM ITB.<\/p>\n

The titles and topics of various research conducted by STEI ITB lecturers are also very diverse. Starting from research on the Development of Glucose Detection Biosensors Based on Digital Microfluidics (DMF), Wireless network access technology to increase capacity and handover performance in 5G\/6G communication systems, to research on the Development of Geospatial Models of the Suitability of Renewable Energy Solar Panels in Southeast Asian Agricultural Regions to Support the Zero Hunger Target of SDGs, Using the Integration of Remote Sensing Satellite Data, Climate Modeling and Energy Economic Statistics.<\/p>\n

In detail, 3 STEI ITB lecturers received funding for the Young Lecturer Capacity Building Research category and 6 lecturers for ITB's Superior Research.<\/p>\n
