(ISC<\/a>)2(R) (“ISC-squared”) is the world's largest non-profit information security professional body and the administrator of CISSP(R), on July 7, 2011, announced the recipients of the fifth annual Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievement Program (ISLA) awards.<\/p>\n

The ISLA program is held annually by (ISC)\u00b2 in collaboration with (ISC)\u00b2 Asia Advisory Board. Through this program, (ISC)\u00b2 recognizes the ongoing commitment of information security leaders across the Asia-Pacific region to building a qualified and ethical workforce. The ISLA, which is part of the (ISC)\u00b2 Global Awards Program, aims to recognize the achievements of leading information security professionals who have contributed significantly to workforce improvement by demonstrating leadership roles in implementing information security workforce improvement initiatives, programs, or projects.<\/p>\n

The professionals were nominated in 3 different categories and one of the teaching staff STEI, Dr. Ir. Sarwono Sutikno <\/strong>nominated in the Senior Information Security Professional category. The three categories are:
\n1.\tKategori Profesional Pengelola Proyek Keamanan Informasi, dimana kandidatnya harus memiliki minimal 10 tahun pengalaman kerja dan menempati posisi senior dalam organisasinya.
\n2.\tProfesional Senior Keamanan Informasi, dimana kandidatnya harus memiliki minimal 10 tahun pengalaman kerja dan 7 tahun diantaranya harus terkait langsung dengan bidang keamanan informasi.
\n3.\tPraktisi Keamanan Informasi, dimana kandidatnya harus memiliki minimal 6 tahun pengalaman kerja dan 3 tahun diantaranya harus terkait langsung dengan bidang keamanan informasi.<\/p>\n

The ISLA Awards will be presented by (ISC)\u00b2 Executives to the ISLA recipients, distinguished award winners, and Community Service Stars at the ISLA Gala Dinner on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. This coincides with the Information Security Main Event (ISC)\u00b2 – SecureAsia@Jakarta Exhibition and Conference \u2013 which will be held on July 26-27, 2011 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.<\/p>\n
