STEI Lecturers' Scientific Publications Are Among the Most Sought After on IEEEXplore<\/b><\/p>\n
Regarding published papers written by STEI-ITB lecturers, both in seminars and international journals, the latest search on the IEEEExplore scientific database (as of November 2010) shows that papers from STEI-ITB lecturers are among the most accessed papers. This is evidenced by the inclusion of STEI lecturers' papers in IEEE Xplore-Top Accessed Articles.<\/p>\n
It's important to note that the papers in the IEEEXplore database come from reputable seminars and journals. IEEE itself is a professional organization with members from all over the world. Initially, IEEE only focused on electrotechnics and radio engineering, and is short for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The merger of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE) and the Institution of Radio Engineers (IRE) eventually formed the IEEE. The expanding and interconnected fields of interest to IEEE development have positioned the organization to focus on other related technologies.<\/p>\n
