(Cum Laude) and M.Eng. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering, ITB, in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and the Doctor in Engineering degree from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2008. He received the Professional Engineer Degree from ITB in 2020. He was the postdoctoral researcher in Japan 2008-2012. He was the visiting researcher in Japan in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. He was the visiting researcher in France in 2021. He participated in the smart grid training in USA in 2016. He participated in economic and business training in Cambridge University, UK in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>UMAR KHAYAM was the Head of Laboratory of High Voltage and High Current Engineering, ITB during 2012-2025. He was the Secretary of Office of Student Affairs, ITB during 2015-2018. He was the Head of Undergraduate Study Program of Electric Power Engineering, ITB during 2018-2021. He was the Head of Doctoral Program of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, ITB during 2021-2025.<\/p>\n<p>UMAR KHAYAM&#8217;s research interests include high voltage engineering, operation, maintenance, and asset management of power apparatus, mainly on the development of a diagnosis system of power apparatus based on the partial discharge measurement technique. He published more than 237 international conference papers and journal articles. He received the Best Paper Award from some international conferences in 2005, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column
