Both departments have a long history in providing higher education in Electrical Engineering (EL) since 1947, and Informatics Engineering (IF) since 1982.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the development of the 2008 Curriculum and the needs of the community and industry STEI ITB opened and added three new study programs. This is evidenced by the issuance of the Rector\u2019s Decree Number: 268\/SK\/K01\/OT\/2008 concerning the Opening of the Undergraduate Study Program in Electrical Power Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Systems and Information Technology on November 26, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, the Biomedical Engineering Study Program was officially established. At present, STEI-ITB offers six (6) undergraduate study programs, namely Electrical Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems and Technology, and Biomedical Engineering. Each program has a duration of eight (8) semesters with a total of 144 credits.
