He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1994, becoming the best student in his class. In late 1999, he pursued his master's and doctoral studies at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics. During his studies in the United States, Dr. Hasballah researched the mechanical aspects of the process of aneurysm formation in cerebral arteries until they rupture, which is one of the main causes of fatal strokes.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"tutun2 wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div  class=\"wpb_single_image wpb_content_element vc_align_right wpb_content_element\">\n\t\t\n\t\t<figure class=\"wpb_wrapper vc_figure\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"vc_single_image-wrapper   vc_box_border_grey\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/stei.itb.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hasballah-Zakaria-Banner.png\" class=\"vc_single_image-img attachment-full\" alt=\"\" title=\"Hasballah Zakaria - Banner\" \/><\/div>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"container\" ><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_custom_1723012029623\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Dr. Hasballah joined the Biomedical Engineering Study Program of ITB in 2008 as an academic assistant and was appointed as a permanent lecturer in 2010. His expertise includes medical and health sciences, particularly in neurology, obstetrics, and cardiovascular health. He teaches courses related to human body mechanics and is active in brainwave research, especially in the fields of medical instrumentation and signal processing. Throughout his career, Dr. Hasballah has received several prestigious awards, including the Innovation Work for Tele-ECG Development from ITB and the Innovation Awards in the Medical Devices category for *NIVA: Early Detection System for Cardiovascular Disease for Prevention* given by IndoHCF in 2017. These awards confirm his contributions in the development of health technology, especially for the early detection of cardiovascular disease.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Dr. Hasballah serves as the Head of the Center for Health and Sports Technology at ITB, where he remains committed to advancing health technology that supports medical and sports needs.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div
