The CAU & ITB Joint Hackathon 2025: A Collaboration Between ITB and Chung-Ang University Students

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB hosted The CAU & ITB Joint Hackathon, held on 9–12 November 2025 at the ITB Ganesa Campus. This event served as a collaborative platform for ITB and Chung-Ang University (CAU) students to sharpen their creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit in the field of immersive technology.. .

The first day began with opening remarks from Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T., Dean of SEEI ITB; Mr. Wi Jong Hyun, Dean of Chung-Ang University; and Dr. techn. Muhammad Zuhri Catur Candra, S.T., M.T., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of SEEI ITB. They emphasized the importance of international collaboration and the development of student competencies in the era of immersive technologies.

Throughout the hackathon, ten ITB students and ten CAU students worked together through brainstorming sessions and idea development to create innovative solutions that provide real benefits to society. The activity also marks an early step toward academic and research collaboration between the two universities.

“The CAU & ITB Joint Hackathon 2025” was not only a competitive event but also a shared learning experience that strengthened the relationship between students of the two leading universities while fostering technological innovation with positive social impact.
