SEEI ITB Receives Visit from TOPBAND to Initiate Academic and Research Collaboration

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – SEEI ITB received a visit from TOPBAND on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at the Labtek VIII Meeting Room. TOPBAND, a company engaged in electronic solutions and control systems, is currently expanding its focus into the power systems and renewable energy sectors.

This visit served as an initial step toward establishing collaboration across various areas, including education, research, and product development. Discussions between both parties highlighted the potential for collaboration that aligns SEEI ITB’s research strengths with TOPBAND’s industrial experience in technology development and manufacturing.

The Vice Dean of Resources of SEEI ITB, Dr.Eng. Ir. Arwindra Rizqiawan, S.T., M.T., expressed his hope that this partnership will grow into a long-term relationship that produces innovations beneficial to society. In addition, the collaboration is expected to create opportunities for SEEI ITB students to participate in research and industry-driven technology development projects.

Through this meeting, SEEI ITB and TOPBAND affirmed their initial commitment to promoting knowledge transfer, exploring new technologies, and contributing jointly to strengthening the innovation ecosystem in the fields of energy and electronics.
