SEEI ITB Receives a Grant of Researcher-Developed Laptops through the Kedaireka Program

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of national innovation through research and technology collaboration. On Tuesday, 17 June 2025, SEEI ITB received a grant of three laptop units featuring motherboards manufactured in Indonesia.

The laptops are the result of research conducted by a research team led by Dr. Ihsan Hariadi and Muhammad Iqbal Arsyad from the Kedaireka Partnership Research Program 2024, who collaborated in the development of locally produced hardware to support national technological self-reliance. . . . .

The laptops were symbolically handed over at the Labtek VIII Meeting Room of SEEI ITB and were received directly by representatives of the SEEI ITB management. These laptops were designed and produced as part of a national initiative to deliver technology devices fully developed by Indonesian researchers. Through this activity, SEEI ITB hopes to continue supporting innovative research programs with tangible impact for the nation, as well as strengthening synergy between academia and industry in the development of local technology. ..
