SEEI ITB Hosts ICAICTA 2025, Strengthening International Informatics Research Collaboration

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI), Institut Teknologi Bandung, organized The 12th International Conference on Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory, and Applications (ICAICTA) 2025 on September 20–21, 2025, at the East CC Building and Labtek V, ITB. This international conference served as a forum for academics, researchers, and industry practitioners to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and present the latest research results in the field of informatics.

ICAICTA 2025 was jointly organized by Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan), Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Telkom University, and the Digital-X AIoT Research Center of Pusan National University (South Korea). The conference featured international keynote speakers, namely Mr. Ryota Nishimura from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, and Dr. Lenny Putri Yulianti, S.T., M.T. from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung.

In his remarks, Dr. Muhammad Zuhri Catur, Vice Dean of SEEI ITB, emphasized that knowledge is a true gift whose value lies in how it is shared and applied to address global challenges and improve the quality of human life. He also expressed appreciation for the contributions of the Informatics Expertise Group of SEEI ITB, which has consistently produced research in various fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Speech Processing, Information Retrieval, Information Systems, and Recommender Systems.

Carrying the theme “Where Your Big Leap Begins,” ICAICTA 2025 is expected to strengthen academic and professional collaboration, open opportunities for cooperation among universities, research institutions, and industry, both at the national and international levels. Through keynote speeches, research presentations, and academic discussions, the conference is expected to provide an inspiring, productive, and meaningful experience for all participants.
